The Office of the Public guardian is a great place to work. Our head office is in central Brisbane and we have permanent offices in South Brisbane, Ipswich, Townsville and Cairns. We also have staff based in regional court houses and our community visitors work from home.
The Office of the Public Guardian is currently recruiting community visitors (CVs) throughout Queensland. CVs go out into the community and visit kids in care and adults with impaired decision-making capacity to ensure they are safe and well and their needs are being met. If you want to help make a difference to the lives of our most vulnerable people think about becoming a CV with the OPG. Find out more.
Wondering what it's like to be a community visitor? Here is a Q&A with one of our Community Visitors, Nicole to tell you more about this important role. Read here.
