Community Education

OPG’s community education function falls within the Communications and Engagement Team. The purpose of this function is to facilitate the Public Guardian’s function under Chapter 2, Sec 12 (j) Public Guardian Act 2014 which is: “educating and advising persons about, and conducting research into, the operation of this Act, the Guardianship Act and the Powers of Attorney Act.”
